We are thrilled to announce the recipients of our First Time CNOR Grant for this term: Katie Brown, JB Cauley, and Andrew Hendrix!

This $445 grant is awarded to perioperative nurses who have recently obtained their CNOR certification, a significant achievement that highlights their dedication to excellence in perioperative nursing and patient care.

Becoming a CNOR is no small feat—it’s a testament to their advanced knowledge, skill, and commitment to ensuring safe and high-quality care for surgical patients.

Periop-101 Student Membership Grant
Applications due December 31st

AORN San Diego County is offering a one-time, one-year renewal grant to a perioperative nurse that has completed his/her Periop 101 training when the first year of membership is due to expire. Our chapter Board hopes that you have found the benefits of membership to AORN helpful to your perioperative nursing practice.  Professional education, growth, and development are important perpetual missions of the San Diego chapter.  Our local chapter also offers many opportunities for networking through different activities ranging from face-to-face social and education events to community service activities. We welcome your participation and ideas you may have to make our chapter even better!
