Scholarship Recipients

We’re proud to announce the recipients of our 2025 AORN of San Diego County scholarships!

Catalina Nyberg has been awarded our Undergraduate Nursing Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to support her journey toward becoming a nurse.

Jen Johns has received the First Time CNOR Scholarship of $445 to celebrate her achievement in earning CNOR certification and to support her continued professional development.

Congratulations to both of these outstanding individuals! We’re honored to support our members in their growth and commitment to excellence in perioperative nursing.

Good news! The deadline to apply for our academic nursing scholarship has been extended to June 15th. If you or someone you know is pursuing a nursing degree and has a passion for perioperative care, we encourage you to apply!
