Objectives:
1. Participants will discuss the importance of accurate, comprehensive, and timely documentation in perioperative nursing and the impact of documentation on clinical outcomes and professional development.
2. Participants will evaluate the benefits and challenges of EHR systems in the context of perioperative care and discuss strategies for overcoming common hurdles.
3. Participants will assess how effective documentation practices contribute to patient safety, care continuity, and the perioperative nursing body of knowledge.
